STATE OF THE ARTS SCHOLARSHIP
This brand-new scholarship awards $1,000 to a homeschooled student who plans to study performing or visual arts past high school. Applicants must have been homeschooled through four years of high school and demonstrate significant experience in the arts. Dance, music, theatre and studio art will all be considered. Applicants must graduate and begin an educational program in an art school, college or university no later than Fall, 2008. Children of FPEA Directors and FPEA Scholarship Fund Directors are not eligible.
The FPEA Scholarship Fund will take into consideration the candidate's application, references, autobiography, homeschool transcript and artistic accomplishments to date. The FPEA Scholarship Fund will only review the materials that have been requested; no other materials will be considered in the selection process.
